Elaine calls Rafael to borrow two hundred thousand dollars for her comatose mother Jenny, but he mocks her and hangs up. In the hospital room, Dr. Smith removes Jenny's oxygen mask over unpaid bills. Edward walks in, presents his black card, and orders the staff to move Jenny to a VIP suite. Elaine thanks Edward, and he offers her a job designing jewelry. Later that night, Edward returns home, where his father Gavin stops him in the dark.

  1. 00:00: Elaine Pleads for Emergency Money

    Elaine calls Rafael from the hospital room to borrow two hundred thousand dollars for her comatose mother. Rafael stays at a party with another woman, mocks Elaine's desperate plea, demands she marry into the family first, and abruptly hangs up.

  2. 00:26: Dr. Smith Cuts Off Oxygen

    Dr. Smith tells Elaine that her mother's treatment must end immediately because of unpaid medical bills. Elaine watches helplessly as the doctor steps over to the hospital bed and begins pulling off her mother's oxygen mask.

  3. 00:38: Edward Hands Over His Black Card

    Edward walks into the room just in time and offers to pay all the expenses. He hands Dr. Smith a black card and commands the staff to transfer Elaine's mother to their best room with top-tier equipment and care.

  4. 01:10: A Job Offer in the VIP Suite

    Hospital staff move Jenny into the VIP room. Elaine cries and thanks Edward for saving her mother. Edward mentions her top marks in jewelry design at RCA and immediately offers her a position as a designer for him.

    Edward returns to the family mansion late at night. He walks into the hallway and heads toward the stairs. His father Gavin sits in an armchair hidden in the dark and suddenly commands Edward to stop right where he is.
