Key Lines from Episode 5

Susan · Susan asks Professor Mason about whether the shifters can flush out heat drugs.

“The answer is yes, but the detox response has to be actively engaged. If they let the drug run its course, the symptoms can still appear.”

Professor Mason · Mason explains to Susan how Ancient King Snakes process estrus-inducing substances.

“Was it all a lie? Why? How could he play me like that?”

Susan · Susan silently questions Lucian's motives after realizing he faked his lack of control.

“If I don't hear from you today, I'm coming to the rainforest tomorrow myself.”

Lucian · Lucian texts Susan an ultimatum after she ignores his repeated calls and messages.
