Episode 10 recap

Susan breaks down in tears and strikes Lucian across his face. Instead of fighting back, Lucian brushes her tears away and offers to let her hit him more. He drops to his knees on the hospital floor, begging her not to hate his Shifter blood. He declares his love and asks for another chance. Susan sees his honest suffering, but she refuses to forgive his betrayal and slumps to the floor.

Episode 10 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Tearful Strike

    Susan weeps uncontrollably in the hospital room and slaps Lucian across his face. Lucian does not strike back. He gently places his hand against her cheek, brushes her tears away, and tells her to release all of her fury on him.

  2. 00:11: Lucian Begs on His Knees

    Lucian drops to his knees on the floor directly in front of Susan. He pleads with her not to look at him with hatred. He explains that he did not choose his shifter blood, confesses his deep love, and begs for mercy.

  3. 00:31: Unforgiven Deception on the Floor

    Susan watches her longtime protector kneeling broken on the floor. She acknowledges that his anguish is genuine. Even so, she decides his suffering does not justify his deception. She sinks weakly to the floor as Lucian desperately calls out her name.

Susan decides that Lucian's real pain cannot make up for his calculated lies. Overwhelmed by distress, she collapses weakly onto the hospital floor while Lucian calls her name from his knees. Will Susan completely shut Lucian out of her life, or will his desperate confession and visible heartbreak force her to reconsider her stance toward him?
