Episode 2 recap

Lucian grips Susan's wrist while snake scales spread across his face. Susan tries to run, but he slams the bedroom door shut. He throws her onto the bed and bares his fangs against her neck. When Susan breaks down in tears, Lucian immediately stops. He shifts behind her on the bed, holds her tight, and apologizes. He says he cannot hold on much longer and asks her for help with her hand.

Episode 2 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Trapped in the Bedroom

    Lucian grabs Susan by the wrist as scales cover his face. Susan yanks her arm away and heads for the exit. Lucian moves faster and slams the bedroom door, cutting off any chance of her getting outside.

  2. 00:09: Fangs at Her Throat

    Lucian throws Susan onto the bed and holds her down firmly. He bares his sharp fangs right over her throat. Susan weeps and begs for release. The sight of her crying makes Lucian freeze and pull back.

  3. 00:25: A Desperate Request

    Lucian rests behind Susan on the mattress, wrapping his arms around her. He repeatedly apologizes and promises never to cause her harm. In total desperation, he asks if Susan will use her hand to help him through the fever.

Sue · Susan shouts when Lucian grabs her wrist as his face begins to scale.

“I'm sorry. I'm sorry... Don't be scared. I would never hurt you.”

Lucian · Lucian whispers softly from behind Susan after seeing her tears on the bed.

“Sue, I can't hold on much longer. Can you help me? With your hand?”

Lucian holds Susan from behind on the bed and whispers that he cannot endure the heat much longer. He asks Susan to relieve him using her hand. Susan is left completely stunned by his request. Will she agree to cross that intimate line, or will she push him away?
