Episode 6 recap

At the gala, Chloe cries and tricks Nora into handing over her expensive designer dress, but an attendee mocks her position. The next morning, Mr. Foster, Mrs. Foster, and Julian visit Evelyn to talk about an arranged marriage with Nora. Evelyn checks her LUMEVRA feed and sees that Julian flirted with Chloe and Chloe wants revenge. Chloe bursts into the room and tries to ruin Nora's reputation in front of the guests.

Episode 6 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: The Handed-Down Designer Dress

    Nora chats with party guests while Chloe stages a tearful scene in the corner. Nora gives away the expensive gown to soothe her friend. A young man in a grey suit approaches and treats Chloe like Nora's hired subordinate.

  2. 00:58: Foster Family Proposes an Engagement

    Mr. and Mrs. Foster arrive at the Hart mansion with their son, Julian. They sit with Evelyn in the living room to discuss pairing Julian with Nora. Evelyn listens calmly and insists Nora makes her own choice about any marriage proposal.

  3. 01:27: LUMEVRA Exposes Julian and Chloe

    Evelyn reviews LUMEVRA digital comments in private. The feeds disclose that Julian made advances toward Chloe at the gala. The messages also warn Evelyn that Chloe harbors bitter jealousy and plans to take revenge against Nora during the meeting.

  4. 01:41: Chloe Disrupts the Meeting

    Chloe marches into the living room while Evelyn and the Fosters talk. She interrupts the conversation and addresses Julian's parents directly. Chloe brings up Nora's years on the streets and begins telling crude, damaging stories about Nora's personal history.
