Episode 3 recap

Evelyn rebukes him, corrects Chloe's disrespectful language toward the staff, and sends Chloe to a second-floor guest room. Later, Evelyn reassures Nora in private. Episode 3 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Deal for Chloe

    Nora lifts Chloe from the living room floor and demands her friend stay, threatening to walk away. Evelyn agrees to house Chloe and pay for her education. However, Evelyn firmly states she will not adopt her.

  2. 00:55: Claiming the Pink Bedroom

    Evelyn shows Nora her childhood bedroom. Chloe hints that she loves it, and Adrian claims Chloe fits the space better. When Chloe calls the staff servants, Evelyn scolds Adrian and tells Marisol to place Chloe in a guest room.

  3. 02:51: Motherly Reassurance

    Inside the bedroom, Evelyn sits down with Nora to offer comfort. She reminds Nora that she has a rightful place in the family. Evelyn instructs her never to surrender what belongs to her simply to please somebody else.

  4. 03:21: The Stolen Gala Gown

    Evelyn prepares a high-society gala to formally present Nora to elite guests. Music plays and the grand doors swing open for the heiress. Instead of Nora, Chloe steps into the ballroom wearing Nora's custom-tailored ivory silk gown.
