Evelyn Hart tracks down her daughter Nora on a city sidewalk right after Nora knocks down a young man. Nora's friend Chloe introduces herself and secures an invitation to the family mansion. Evelyn notices digital comments floating across her glasses about Chloe taking over. They arrive at the Hart estate, where Adrian runs out to greet them. Adrian assumes Chloe is his sister, then questions Evelyn's choice after meeting the real Nora.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Meeting on the City Sidewalk

    Evelyn finds Nora standing over a young man she just beat up on the street. Nora smokes a cigarette and looks directly at Evelyn. She asks Evelyn outright if she is her rich mother.

  2. 00:20: Floating Warnings and an Invitation

    Chloe introduces herself to Evelyn as Nora's best friend. Digital comments suddenly appear across Evelyn's glasses, predicting Chloe will charm the family and steal the spotlight. Nora tells Evelyn that Chloe must come home with them.

  3. 01:27: Arrival at the Hart Estate

    Evelyn pulls up to the Hart mansion driveway with Nora and Chloe. Chloe stares at the large estate with open admiration. Nora acts completely indifferent to the luxury around her. Evelyn steps forward and officially welcomes Nora home.

  4. 01:50: Adrian's Mistake at the Steps

    Adrian rushes outside and immediately greets Chloe as his sister Nora. Evelyn corrects his error. Floating text appears on Evelyn's lenses predicting Adrian will fall for Chloe. Adrian looks at Nora and asks if Evelyn brought the wrong sister.
