Episode 9 recap

Talia takes her tea and leaves a pouch of gold coins before driving off. Ruby spots the coins and tries calling after the translucent car. A friend in glasses runs over to announce Rover won the creation contest and Queen Talia will present the prize. Ruby excitedly assumes Rover will propose, so they pack up the cart. Inside her limousine, Talia drinks the tea, tastes Crystalian chili and cinnamon, and orders her driver to turn back.

    A classmate with glasses and a scarf runs up with news that Rover won the Crystal Claw Creation Contest. He adds that Queen Talia is presenting the prize. Ruby cheers that Rover will propose, and they quickly pack the cart.

    Inside her ice limousine, Talia speaks about how much she misses her sister. She drinks the tea and immediately tastes Crystalian chili and cinnamon. Realizing the tea vendor is Ruby, Talia orders her driver to return to the cart.
