Fire & Ice: Return of the Alpha Queen's Sister: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: The Cursed Sister

Young Ruby scales a frozen cliff to retrieve Crystalian Chili for her shivering sister, Talia. At their campsite, Talia gives Ruby their mother Zara's earring pendant and reminds her of her snowflake birthmark. When their father Romney Zephyr arrives, Ruby overhears him tell Talia that Ruby is cursed and the direct cause of Talia's Frozen Heart Syndrome.

2. EP 2: A Bitter Sacrifice

Talia refuses to abandon Ruby, but collapses as her eyes glow green, forcing their father to carry her away. Horrified that she is killing her sister, Ruby runs deep into the woods. She kneels under the full moon and begs the Moon Goddess to take her wolf. The deity warns she will lose her memories, but Ruby accepts and falls limp in the snow.

3. EP 3: Into the Blizzard

Young Talia wakes in her palace bedroom to find snow falling in July. A bearded pack elder reveals Ruby left so Talia could become Alpha Queen, then tries to burn Ruby's farewell note. Talia snatches the letter and flees barefoot into the blizzard, running until her bleeding feet give out as she vows to find her sister.

4. EP 4: The Alpha Queen Rises

Eleven years pass. Talia leads her warriors on a snowy battlefield, shifting into a green-flame wolf to wipe out the enemy pack and secure the Tourmaline caves. Her soldiers hail her as Alpha Queen. Talia hands a warrior Ruby's childhood picture, ordering a full search so they can bring summer back to Crystal Mountain.

5. EP 5: Stolen Inventions

At Crystal Valley High, Ruby hands her finished warming prototype to her mate Rover Kahn for the creation contest. Rover secretly plans to claim credit and break their bond. He convinces Ruby to give him all her tea-stall savings for his proposal suit. Outside in the snow, Ruby's earring suddenly emits a sharp, painful glow.

6. EP 6: Clues in the Ice

General Birchwood brings contest entries to Queen Talia's throne room. Talia spots a device shaped like an egg decorated with a Crystalian chili, built to treat Frozen Heart Syndrome. Remembering Ruby's childhood promise, Talia inspects the device and discovers a handwritten note addressed to Tally. She instantly orders Birchwood to depart for Crystal Valley.

7. EP 7: The Roadside Encounter

En route, an aide informs Talia that student Rover Khan submitted the prototype and has a mate named Ruby. Talia changes her hair black to hide her royal identity. As their car enters the campus, Talia glances through the window and spots Ruby serving tea at a roadside stall, screaming for the driver to stop.

8. EP 8: Tea and Recognition

Student Melody Goldfang insults Ruby's tea and throws the cup at her. Talia uses a magical gust of green wind to blow the drink back into Melody's face. Ruby thanks Talia and explains she works extra hours to buy a gift for her mate's proposal. As Talia takes a cup, Ruby notices Talia's white gloves, sparking a childhood memory.

9. EP 9: The Secret Ingredient

Talia leaves a bag of gold coins for the tea and drives off. A classmate informs Ruby that Rover won the contest and Queen Talia will present the award. Inside the moving car, Talia takes a sip of the drink. Recognizing the Crystalian chili and cinnamon, she realizes the tea girl is Ruby and orders the car to turn around.

10. EP 10: The Banquet Hall

Talia heads toward the campus award banquet, where Rover basks in praise from his grandmother and cousin. Guests whisper about Talia's decade-long search for her sister. Talia and her guard arrive at the hall just as Ruby walks in holding a gift and a balloon. Talia studies her, wondering if the girl is indeed her lost sister.

11. EP 11: Public Betrayal

Ruby watches happily from the crowd as Rover takes the stage to thank the person who supported his vision. Talia overhears students claiming Rover will propose to the tea vendor. Instead, Rover announces Melody Goldfang as his true love and pulls her into a passionate kiss. Ruby drops her gift in shock as her heart breaks.

12. EP 12: The Queen's Wrath

Rover proposes to Melody on stage while taking full credit for the prototype. Ruby runs up and shows their mate bond, but Rover and his family push and insult her.
