    Emily selects several outfits for Adrian to try on, and he models each one for her. The stall vendor tallies up the bill for five hundred dollars. Emily scans the vendor's payment code, but her bank balance comes up short.

    The vendor grows impatient and ridicules the pair for not having enough cash. Emily recalls her father giving her a jade moon pendant as a token of true love. She hands the precious heirloom to the vendor to cover the full purchase.
