Outside Summit Design, a former coworker drops Emily's belongings onto the wet ground and insults her for defying Daniel. Emily breaks down in tears beside her drenched sketches. Adrian suddenly appears with an umbrella to protect her from the rain. He gathers her drawings and holds her close. Adrian then escorts her home, shivering in his t-shirt. Seeing his icy skin, Emily pulls him inside her building.

    Outside Summit Design, a male colleague dumps Emily's belongings onto the wet pavement. He taunts her for losing her job and Daniel at age thirty. He walks away while Emily kneels down, weeping over her ruined jewelry sketches.

    Adrian arrives holding an umbrella over Emily to block the downpour. He bends down to help her gather the wet design sketches from the ground. Adrian pulls Emily into an embrace and speaks gentle, reassuring words to calm her down.

  3. 00:59: Inviting Adrian Inside

    Adrian walks Emily to her apartment building wearing only his t-shirt. When he turns to leave, Emily touches his cold hands and checks his forehead for a fever. Refusing to let him go, she urges him inside to change clothes.
