Episode 4 recap

Emily offers Adrian a place to live, promises to find him work, and suggests they divorce in three months. She hands him her address and leaves. Adrian's Assistant pulls up in a van to take Adrian to a blind date, but Adrian presents their marriage certificate. Later that night, Emily arrives at Summit Design Group. An executive blocks her, fires her, and reveals Daniel blacklisted her everywhere except Veil Group.

Episode 4 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Three Month Marriage Agreement

    On the sidewalk, Emily gives Adrian her contact information and home address. She promises to find him housing and employment, proposing they divorce after three months. After she walks away, Adrian watches her go and remarks that they will meet again soon.

  2. 00:42: Adrian Produces the Marriage Certificate

    Adrian's Assistant steps out of a luxury van and asks Adrian to attend a scheduled blind date. Instead, Adrian displays his new marriage certificate. He announces his marriage and instructs his assistant to tell his mother to stop nagging him.

  3. 01:09: Blacklisted Outside Summit Design Group

    Emily is blocked by security outside Summit Design Group at night. An executive serves her a termination notice and says Daniel Whitman blacklisted her across the city, leaving only Veil Group. When Emily vows to succeed there, the executive shoves her down.
