Outside, Elena switches into demure clothing after her aunt Laura calls about a blind date. In the hallway, Elena drops another abuser before meeting Laura. Inside a private dining room, elite lawyer Adrian Cross slaps his mother Margaret over an oyster recommendation. Elena enters, and Adrian warmly shakes her hand with a pleasant smile.

    The Cross family sits together for dinner. Margaret Cross urges her son Adrian to eat an oyster for his stamina. Adrian flies into a violent rage, demands to know if she questions his bedroom performance, and slaps her face.

    Laura brings Elena into the VIP dining room. Adrian hides his vicious anger instantly behind a polished mask. He presents himself as an educated, refined gentleman, greets Elena with a warm smile, and takes her hand.
