The High Priestess officially launches the Bride Tide. A guard ties a wooden name tag to Isla Reed's waist. After Isla trades barbs with the Blonde Bride, the platform drops open. The brides plunge into the sea. The blonde rival transforms with a glowing mermaid tail. Isla scrambles toward a shipwreck, where an aquatic predator mocks her and ambushes her as she tries to climb a hanging rope.

Episode 6 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Decree of the Bride Tide

    The High Priestess reads the decree for the Bride Tide. She announces that anyone who fails belongs to the sea. A guard steps forward and fastens a wooden tag reading 'ISLA REED' around Isla's chained waist.

  2. 00:12: Confrontation on the Platform

    The Blonde Bride steps up to Isla. She tells Isla not to confuse yesterday with real power. Isla stares back at her wrist. She calls out the woman's scars, noting they look like the marks of property.

  3. 00:24: Plunging into the Dark Sea

    The wooden floor drops open without warning. Isla and the other brides fall straight into the dark sea. Isla breaks the surface, coughing up salt water, and grips a piece of floating timber to keep her head above the waves.

  4. 00:36: Transformation in the Waves

    The Blonde Bride sinks beneath the waves. Her legs merge and reshape into a glowing mermaid tail under the dark water. She glides back up through the surface and lifts herself cleanly over the heavy ocean swell.

  5. 00:44: Encounter at the Shipwreck

    The girl in the light gown shouts for Isla to grab the nearby shipwreck. Isla extends her hand toward the broken wood. A woman with webbed fins swims directly toward her, sneers at her, and lunges forward.

  6. 00:56: Ambush in the Depths

    Isla sinks deeper into the shipwreck. She spots a dangling rope and pulls on it to drag herself back toward the surface. The aquatic predator spreads her fins wide, cuts down through the water, and ambushes Isla from above.

The episode closes underwater near the broken shipwreck. Isla grips a dangling rope, trying to pull herself to the surface, but the aquatic predator lunges down with flared fins and attacks her. Can Isla fight off this sea creature and make it to the drowned temple without drowning?
