Ella notices his hands are completely healed, but both women mock him. When Dylan confronts Ella for wearing Bruce's diamond ring, Bruce arrives with roses. Mrs. Sterling sends Ella on a date with Bruce. Dylan tries to stop Ella, but she pulls away and leaves.

    Dylan pauses his mopping in the dining room and says he fixed the problem. He promises the contract will arrive tomorrow. Ella sees his burned hands are healed, but both she and Mrs. Sterling laugh at his words.
