The knight steps toward Elena to strike her down. Leo grabs a handful of mud and flings it straight into the soldier's face. The boy tackles him, but the knight violently throws Leo aside, leaving the child injured on the ground.

Leo stands back up and stretches out his small arms to shield his mother from danger. He declares that he will protect her. The angry knight refuses to back down and raises his steel blade to execute Leo first.
