The Dragon's Sacred Bride: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: The Crocodile Pit

   A black dragon unleashes fire across the kingdom. The Fortune Teller warns that a daughter of House Valerius must be sacrificed to halt the beast. Beatrice and Seraphina pick Elena to die. When Elena refuses and reminds Seraphina of past betrayal, Beatrice orders young Leo chained over a courtyard crocodile pit. Elena watches in horror as her son screams for help in the pouring rain.

2. EP 2: The Coerced Vow

   Armed guards hold Elena down while Beatrice counts down from ten at the winch. Dragon scales briefly emerge on Leo's neck. Elena surrenders to save her son and enters the sacrificial carriage. Guards lower the boy to safety. Beatrice slaps Elena across the face, leaving her bleeding. Elena wipes away the blood and vows that Beatrice and Seraphina will answer for everything they did.

3. EP 3: Dragon on the Storm Road

   Leo breaks away and dashes into the cage wagon to stay with his mother. Beatrice orders guards to leave the boy as an appetizer for the dragon. Inside the moving wagon, Elena uses glowing healing magic on Leo's neck and readies a hidden dagger. Suddenly, the Black Dragon attacks the convoy. The beast wipes out the church knights, leaving Elena and Leo trapped inside the bloodied cage.

4. EP 4: The Red Light

   Dead knights litter the forest road while the black dragon advances on the cage wagon. Leo steps between the beast and his mother, declaring he will protect her. A bright red glow shines from the boy's chest. The dragon stares at Leo and takes flight without harming them. Seizing the moment, Elena kicks the cage door open and flees into the rainy woods with Leo.

5. EP 5: Hunted in the Swamp

   Elena flees through the muddy forest until a silver knight blocks their path with a glowing arrow. The knight refuses to let them go. He fears Beatrice will flay him alive if the sacrifices survive. Leo throws mud into the knight's visor to defend his mother. The soldier hurls Leo aside and raises his blade to execute the boy on the spot.

6. EP 6: The Warrior's Collapse

   A mysterious warrior named Kal catches the knight's sword barehanded, shatters the steel, and slashes the soldier's throat. Kal senses dragon blood in Leo and demands the child. Elena refuses to surrender her son. Before violence breaks out, dark runes erupt across Kal's skin, dropping him to his knees from magic backlash. Elena draws her hidden dagger and presses the blade against Kal's throat.

7. EP 7: The Soul Contract

   Elena realizes Kal's weakness and cuts her own wrist. Holy healing light blooms from her wound, revealing her status as a high-tier healer. She offers her curse-soothing blood on one condition: Kal must sign a Life-and-Soul Contract and become her lawful husband. Kal drinks her blood to suppress the curse. Glowing crests appear on their forearms, sealing their pact before Elena faints from exhaustion.

8. EP 8: Return of the Bride

   Kal carries Leo through the woods while Elena explains Church Law. Sacrificial brides must be pure, so marriage excuses her from the altar. Back at the manor, Beatrice and Seraphina celebrate Elena's demise. The doors blast open, and Elena enters with Kal and Leo. Elena presents Kal as her husband and names Seraphina as the new sacrifice. Beatrice orders her knights to hack Kal to pieces.
