1. 00:00: Merrick Runs to Karen

   Merrick dashes past Elowen and heads directly for Karen on the street. Elowen shouts at the child to stop immediately. Merrick ignores her warning, wraps both arms tightly around Karen's armored leg, and addresses him as Dad.

2. 00:22: Karen Questions the Boy

   Karen kneels down beside the young boy on the ground. He touches Merrick's chin gently and asks why Merrick calls him Dad. Elowen intervenes anxiously, pulls Merrick back to her side, and tries to dismiss the child's statement.

3. 00:53: Loran Steps In

   Loran walks over and places a steady hand onto Elowen's shoulder. He tells Karen that Merrick is his and Elowen's child. Loran claims the young boy does not know many people and simply became confused by a stranger.

4. 01:12: Karen Demands the Truth

   Karen studies Merrick's facial features and eyes, rejecting the explanation he just heard. He steps forward directly in front of Elowen, lifts her chin with his hand, and firmly challenges her about who really fathered the young boy.
