Episode 2 recap

Derek orders his crew to beat Luke inside an ancient church hall. Luke's eyes glow red, and he yells for them to stop. A red shockwave freezes the attackers mid-air. When Derek charges with a baseball bat, Luke grabs his throat with one hand, lifts him up, and flings him across the floor. The bullies run away in panic. Luke asks who did it, and Lucifer appears from his shadow.

Episode 2 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Red Shockwave Freezes the Bullies

    Inside the ancient church hall, Derek tells his crew to beat Luke. Luke looks up as his eyes turn glowing red. He shouts for them to stop, sending out a red shockwave that leaves all the attackers suspended in mid-air.

  2. 00:22: Luke Catches Derek by the Throat

    Derek grabs a baseball bat and charges directly at Luke. Luke easily catches Derek by the throat using just one hand. He lifts the bully high into the air while Derek chokes and desperately begs him for mercy.

  3. 00:40: The Bullies Flee in Terror

    Luke hurls Derek across the church floor. The curly-haired bully screams that Luke is possessed and calls him a demon. Terrified, the gang drags their injured leader and sprints out of the building as fast as they can.

  4. 00:54: A Sinister Voice Answers Luke

    Luke stands alone in the church and stares down at his own bloody hands in total disbelief. He wonders aloud if he committed the violence himself. A chilling, sinister voice speaks out from the empty space and answers him directly.

  5. 01:10: Lucifer Emerges From the Shadows

    Luke raises a bat defensively to protect himself. Behind him, his shadow twists and expands into a huge winged demon. The entity names himself as Lucifer and announces that Luke's spilled blood has broken the ancient seal holding him captive.

“Stop!”

Luke · Luke shouts at the bullies as a red shockwave stops their attack.

“I... can't... breathe... please...”

Derek · Derek chokes while Luke lifts him into the air by his throat.

“He's possessed or some shit! He's a fucking demon! Run!”

The curly-haired bully · The terrified henchman screams before dragging Derek away to escape the hall.

“I am Lucifer. Fallen angel sealed within this place. And your blood just broke the seal.”

Lucifer · Lucifer announces his identity to Luke after emerging as a giant winged shadow.

How Episode 2 Ends

Lucifer steps out of the shadows as a towering winged demon, declaring that Luke's blood freed him from his ancient confinement. Luke stands stunned with a bat in hand. What will this fallen angel demand from Luke now that the seal is broken, and what will become of Luke's newfound power?
