   The clock strikes midnight. Ella fears her magic will vanish, so she shoves Alexander back. She slips into her glass footwear, drops down from the high balcony, and hurries into the waiting carriage to flee the palace grounds.

2. 00:50: The Prince Rides in Pursuit

   Alexander quickly puts on his clothes inside the royal chambers. He heads outside immediately, mounts his white horse, and gallops down the dark path behind Ella’s carriage as it speeds away into the dark night.

3. 01:23: A Transformation on the Trail

   Ella's carriage suddenly vanishes, forcing her to run across the rough trail on foot. Her magical ballgown shifts into simple peasant rags. In the rush, one of her glass slippers slips off her foot onto the dirt.

4. 01:42: Discovery of the Glass Slipper

   Alexander spots the discarded glass slipper on the roadway. Kevin rides up and questions why the prince abandoned the ball. Alexander holds up the shoe and announces he will make the woman who owns it his wife.
