Episode 2 recap

A winged fairy helps Ella by having birds sort the beans into barrels. The fairy transforms Ella's rags into a sparkling gown, gives her glass slippers, and turns a pumpkin into a carriage. Before Ella leaves, the fairy warns her that the magic ends at midnight. At the palace, Ella shares a moonlit kiss with Prince Alexander. Alexander then pulls open a curtain to reveal a massive shoe collection and cheerfully confesses his foot fetish.

  2. 00:59: Midnight Warning at the Carriage

    The fairy stops Ella right before she departs. She warns Ella that every trace of magic will disappear when the clock strikes twelve. Ella listens to the instructions, steps inside the golden carriage, and rides toward the palace.

  3. 01:14: Midnight Kiss on the Balcony

    Ella meets Alexander on the palace balcony under the moonlight. The shirtless prince pulls Ella close and kisses her passionately. In voiceover, Ella describes how happy she feels during this romantic midnight encounter with the prince.

  4. 01:36: Alexander Unveils the Shoe Wall

    Alexander breaks off the kiss and leads Ella into the palace hall. He walks over to a large red velvet curtain and pulls the cord. The fabric opens to display huge shelves packed with pairs of women's high heels.
