Episode 5 recap

Elena watches Cole leave with Chloe. After counting to ten, Elena announces to the wedding guests that she will not marry Cole. Inside the dressing room, Elena changes clothes to prepare for a new gown. A man in a tuxedo runs in to report that her father is pinned down outside. Elena races into the garden, pushes Chloe off her father's hand, and shields him. Cole defends Chloe, while Chloe demands an apology.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Calling Off the Wedding

    Elena watches Cole leave the hall with Chloe. She counts to ten silently before giving up on him. Facing the crowd of wedding guests, Elena announces that she will not marry Cole.

  2. 00:23: Panic in the Dressing Room

    Elena changes her clothes in the dressing room and prepares to order a replacement wedding dress. A man in a tuxedo suddenly bursts through the door. He frantically warns Elena that guards are pinning her father down outside.

  3. 00:33: Her Father in the Mud

    Elena runs into the outdoor garden. She spots two guards holding her father face down in the mud. Chloe stands over him, presses her sharp stiletto heel into his hand, and repeatedly hurls verbal insults at him.

  4. 01:04: Elena Confronts Chloe

    Elena sprints across the grass and shoves Chloe away from her father. She pulls her father to his feet and places him safely behind her back. Elena then turns and angrily confronts Chloe for mistreating him.

  5. 01:14: Accusations and Cruel Demands

    Cole steps forward to support Chloe and claims Elena's father misbehaved. Chloe accuses the older man of groping her. She angrily demands that Elena's father drop to his knees, slap his own face, and apologize to her.
