Episode 7 recap

Kane attempts to repair the clock while Ben explains Marcus stole a vital gear. Henry Reed arrives with a briefcase and warns that Selena aims to block the Friday deadline. Kane channels his magic into the gears, coughing up blood as dark marks spread across his arm. After receiving a photo threatening Amy, Kane rushes home. Lina discovers identical purple bruises on Kane and Amy right before Amy suddenly drops unconscious.

Episode 7 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Missing Gear in the Workshop

    Kane works on the broken clock inside the shop. Ben points out that Marcus stole an essential gear. Kane tells Ben that he will get the mechanism running anyway and plans to deal directly with Selena to fix the problem.

  2. 00:32: Henry Reed Issues a Warning

    Henry Reed arrives outside the shop carrying a briefcase. He warns Kane that Selena took the gear specifically to stop Friday's delivery. Kane remains firm and states he will force Selena to bring the missing piece back herself.

  3. 00:55: Magic and Dark Bruises

    Kane pours his magical energy into the clock mechanism. Dark vein-like marks immediately crawl across his arm, and he violently coughs blood into a tissue. Ben watches the physical toll Kane suffers while continuing his work at the bench.

  4. 01:30: A Threat Against Amy

    Kane receives a photo message on his phone displaying Amy. The sender texts a direct threat to take the girl if Kane fails to repair the clock. Kane drops what he is doing and immediately sprints out of the workshop.

  5. 01:44: Matching Marks and Collapse

    Kane arrives home as Lina discovers dark purple bruises on Amy's arm and leg. Lina rolls up Kane's sleeve to reveal matching severe injuries on his arm. She interrogates him about his work until Amy suddenly collapses to the floor.
