    Kane pulls back his magical energy. Marcus gets to his feet alongside his crew and demands an explanation for the blast. Marcus gives Kane a final deadline to pay by Friday at four in the afternoon, then retreats down the hall.

  2. 00:18: Lina Protects Her Daughter

    Amy feels dizzy and holds tightly to Lina. Lina asks how Kane repelled three men alone. She warns him never to take Amy away from her. Kane decides to locate enough money to settle the debt right away.

  3. 00:48: Buying the Aurelian Pocket Watch

    Kane enters Ben's shop and sells his steel wristwatch for eighty dollars. In a scrap bin, he spots an Aurelian 1908 pocket watch radiating magic. Ben calls it unfixable scrap brass, and Kane purchases it for thirty-five dollars.

  4. 01:28: Magic at the Workbench

    Marcus lurks outside on the street, photographing Kane through the window with a smartphone. Inside, Kane asks to use Ben's workbench for ten minutes. Kane infuses the internal gears with blue magic while his eyes shine blue.
