On the sidewalk, he promises to retrieve her passport in three days. Suddenly, a phone call alerts Lina that Amy has collapsed.

    Red energy shines under Kane's skin as the upload loads. His broken seal returns some magic. Kane gathers lightning in his hand, blows apart Selena's desk, and glares at Marcus with blue eyes before pulling Lina out the door.

    Outside on the sidewalk, Lina questions Kane about the blast and his abilities. He claims the surge stopped the data transfer and asks for three days to get her passport. Lina then answers a call about Amy fainting.
