Episode 5 recap

At the altar, Selena tells Ragnar that she made a mistake by choosing Damon. Ragnar hands back her sealed wolf spirit and promises the clan's backing. Alphas Kael, Xavier, and Laurent arrive on flying beasts. They kneel before Princess Selena after she takes her parents' casket. Selena promises to unveil their statues in three months. Later, a giant black wolf finds her crying in the rain.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: At the Sacred Altar

    Selena tells Ragnar she picked the wrong partner and faced betrayal. Ragnar expresses anger toward Damon. He returns Selena's bottled wolf spirit to her hands and vows that the entire clan will always stand behind her.

  2. 01:00: Arrival on Flying Beasts

    Alpha Kael, Alpha Xavier, and Alpha Laurent ride flying beasts across the sky toward the seaside cliff. The three pack leaders land at the ceremony grounds to attend the royal memorial.

  3. 01:24: Alphas Swear Fealty

    Selena walks past the guards and takes the casket containing her parents' remains. She breaks down in tears while holding it. Kael, Xavier, and Laurent step forward, salute Princess Selena, and drop to one knee to pledge their loyalty.

  4. 02:54: Three Months Until Unveiling

    Ragnar asks Selena to lead a ceremony in three months to unveil statues honoring the late Lycan King and Queen. Selena agrees to return. She touches her pregnant stomach and says goodbye to the gathered elders.

    Selena sits beneath a tree in the eastern border woods during a downpour, clutching the casket and crying. A massive black wolf silently walks up to her. It leans close and sniffs her, giving off a familiar scent.
