Episode 7 recap

Shakir marches up to the castle bridge with soldiers from House Clayton to demand entry into the marriage tournament. Lord Ashburn asks if he wants a war. Shakir mocks the clan and speaks crudely about Layla Ashburn. A silver-haired Ashborn warrior draws his blade in anger and attacks. Shakir easily deflects the blow and slashes his shoulder. The youth drops down vomiting blood, and Shakir moves forward to finish him.

Episode 7 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Shakir Arrives at the Gate

    Shakir arrives at the stone bridge outside the fortress gates, flanked by armed Clayton troops. He halts his force before the entrance and loudly demands that they let him take part in the upcoming marriage tournament.

  2. 00:19: Insults on the Bridge

    Lord Ashburn faces the intruders and questions whether Shakir intends to provoke a battle. Shakir belittles the power of House Ashburn. He turns his attention to Layla Ashburn, making lewd remarks about her body and bedding her.

  3. 01:00: The Silver-Haired Youth Attacks

    Layla's kin cannot tolerate the repulsive remarks directed at her. The silver-haired Ashborn youth unsheathes his steel blade in a fit of rage. He screams a threat and dashes straight across the stone bridge to strike Shakir down.

  4. 01:16: A Brutal Counterstrike

    Shakir deflects the oncoming sword strike with minimal effort. He counters immediately by cutting deep into the youth's shoulder. Shakir raises his bloody blade up to his mouth and licks the fresh blood right off the steel.

  5. 01:52: A Fatal Charge

    Layla Ashburn turns to Countess Ashburn and asks why her father refuses to step between them. The injured young warrior sinks onto his knees and vomits blood. Shakir sprints toward the defenseless youth with his weapon ready to kill.

How Episode 7 Ends

The silver-haired Ashborn defender collapses on the stones, coughing up blood from his grievous wound. Shakir bounds forward with his sword raised high to deliver a fatal strike to the helpless warrior. Can anyone move fast enough to block Shakir's blade, or will House Ashburn watch one of their own die right outside the gates?
