Maeve spends the night on a bare floor without blankets. Morning arrives, and her First Heat hits with a violent fever and no suppressants. Rhonda calls the Sterlings and pleads for a healer. Bianca tells her parents that Maeve is faking her illness. Alpha Sterling and Luna Sterling refuse to help and hang up. Alone and burning up, Maeve crawls out onto the front porch, begs strangers for help, and passes out.

  1. 00:00: Maeve's First Heat Strikes

    Maeve sleeps through the night on the bare floor of a broken room in Rhonda's Neutral Zone home. She has no blankets. By morning, her First Heat strikes hard. Maeve develops a severe fever without any medication to treat it.

  2. 00:31: The Sterlings Hang Up

    Rhonda calls the Sterling residence and reports Maeve's dangerous fever of 104 degrees. She asks for a healer. Bianca claims Maeve is lying to guilt-trip them. Alpha Sterling tells his wife to ignore it, and Luna Sterling hangs up on Rhonda.

  3. 01:05: A Desperate Cry for Help

    Left alone with no medical care, Maeve pulls herself out through the door onto the wooden porch. She is burning with a high fever. Maeve calls out to people passing by, begging for a healer, but she collapses unconscious onto the boards.

How Episode 8 Ends

Maeve collapses unconscious on the outdoor porch planks while burning with an untreated fever. The Sterlings head off to their pack retreat, and nobody on the street stops to help her. Will anyone in the Neutral Zone find Maeve and call a healer in time, or will her first heat fever prove fatal on that wooden porch?
