Rogue wolves attack the pack's vehicles, trapping Reid, pregnant Mara, Tessa, Nolan, and Elise on a cliffside road. Tessa cannot shift due to a silver wound. Elise warns that Mara is in labor, but Reid refuses to listen. Reid cuts Mara's palm with silver to create a scent trail, then shoves his mate off the cliff. Mara lands battered below as rogue wolves surround her.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Ambush on the Mountain Road

    Rogue wolves ambush the convoy along the mountain road in Cedar Ridge Forest. An SUV gets rammed into a ditch. The second vehicle halts at the edge of a cliff, leaving Reid, Mara, Tessa, Nolan, and Elise trapped.

  2. 00:22: A Desperate Medical Warning

    Tessa cries that a silver wound stops her from shifting, so Nolan examines her injury. Elise warns Reid that Mara has entered labor and both she and the pup could die. Reid claims the rogues will keep Mara alive for ransom.

  3. 00:49: Betrayal on the Cliff Edge

    Elise argues back and Mara begs her mate for help. Reid ignores them both. He cuts Mara's palm using a silver knife to attract the attackers. Then he shoves his pregnant mate straight over the cliff into the valley.

  4. 01:17: Surrounded in the Valley

    Mara hits the ground below the cliff with severe injuries while labor pains continue. The rogue wolves follow the scent of her fresh blood. They encircle her in the clearing, and one wolf leaps straight toward her.

Elise · Elise warns Reid when he considers sacrificing Mara during the rogue wolf ambush.

The final moments capture a rogue wolf leaping right at her unprotected body. Can Mara survive this deadly assault alone, or will Reid realize what he has done before it is too late?
