1. 00:00: Terrified in the Storm

   A heavy thunderstorm strikes the castle. Gray sits curled up on his bedroom floor. He presses his hands tightly over his wolf ears and weeps while lightning flashes outside.

2. 00:05: Tragedy in the Woods

   In a flashback, young cub Gray flees through the forest beside his mother. A hostile lightning spell strikes and kills his mother, who orders him to flee. Three armed hunters then trap young Gray inside an iron cage.

3. 00:46: Blocking Out the Lightning

   Valerius walks into the bedroom and spots Gray shaking on the floor. Valerius casts magic to drape a warm blanket over him. Then Valerius shuts the open window and pulls the heavy curtains shut against the storm.

4. 01:03: Reading by Candlelight

   Gray pleads with Valerius to remain in the room because he is frightened. Valerius sits down with a book and promises to read beside him until the thunder stops. Gray explains that his mother died during a similar storm.

5. 01:32: A Gift for Gray

   Gray falls asleep on the bed. Valerius tucks the covers around him. Before leaving, Valerius uses his magic to summon a small stuffed wolf plushie next to the boy. Gray reaches out and gently touches the toy in his sleep.
