Episode 5 recap

Valerius recalls that the original villain blinded Niles out of jealousy. He kisses Niles with his own lifeblood, healing his eyes. Niles cries tears that turn into a pink pearl and offers it to Valerius. His hatred level drops by half, and the two plunge into the bedroom pool. Later, Valerius gathers all five sons in the cathedral. He feeds them blood beads to heal their injuries, then announces he will cook dinner for them.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Restoring Niles's Vision

    Niles pulls away from the kiss and tries to leave the bedroom. His blindfold slips down his face. Valerius remembers how the villain originally blinded him. He kisses Niles again, using his own lifeblood to heal the merman's damaged eyes.

  2. 00:50: The Pearl and the Pool

    Niles regains his sight and sheds a glowing pink pearl, giving it to Valerius. The System announces that Niles's hatred has dropped by half. Niles and Valerius share a passionate kiss before diving together into the bedroom's indoor pool.

  3. 01:19: Healing Blood Beads

    Valerius calls the five beast sons to the grand cathedral hall. He presents glowing red beads made of his lifeblood to heal their internal wounds. Niles consumes his bead first, prompting the remaining four sons to swallow theirs and heal.

  4. 02:30: An Offer to Cook

    Ignis verifies that the blood was safe and asks what Valerius demands next. Finn and Elio's stomachs suddenly growl with hunger. Valerius hears them and tells the surprised group that he will personally prepare a meal for them.
