Lu Chen tells Lin Wanqing to meet him at the civil affairs bureau in three days for their divorce. Lin Wanqing mocks him, but Lu Chen has his bodyguards throw her, her parents, and Song Hao outside. His assistant asks about canceling her promotion at Lu Foundation. Lu Chen keeps the appointment active to crush her later. Outside in the storm, Song Hao offers shelter while Lin Wanqing vows revenge.

    Lu Chen tells Lin Wanqing they will meet at the civil affairs bureau in three days. Lin Wanqing claims he will starve without her. Lu Chen commands his bodyguards to grab the Lin family and Song Hao and toss them out.

    Lu Chen's assistant asks if he should revoke Lin Wanqing's appointment as general manager of Lu Foundation. Lu Chen tells him to hold off. He plans to let them celebrate before destroying their hopes when they feel most confident.

    The Lin family and Song Hao crash onto the wet ground while guards hurl their suitcases into the rain. Lin Wanqing's parents shout curses. Song Hao wraps his coat around Lin Wanqing and invites everyone to his home. She swears payback.
