Episode 3 recap

Sloan crouches in the mansion hallway to reassure frightened young Mia. Elena Moretti walks over, mocks Sloan, and yanks Mia's arm toward bed. Sloan grabs Elena's wrist to stop her. Elena pressures Mia into denying any pain, then tells Sloan to ask servants for help tomorrow. After Elena leaves, Sloan returns to comforting Mia. Nearby, Leo steps out of the window shadows and watches Sloan with a softened, less hostile look.

  1. 00:00: Reassuring Mia in the Hallway

    Sloan crouches down on the hallway floor and holds Mia's small hands. The frightened little girl listens as Sloan speaks softly to her. Sloan reassures Mia that she is not alone and has a mommy now.

  2. 00:07: Confronting Elena in the Hall

    Elena Moretti marches down the hall and taunts Sloan. She roughly seizes Mia's arm to drag the child off to bed. Sloan steps between them and tightly grips Elena's wrist to keep her from pulling the girl away.

  3. 00:41: Elena Demands Silence and Leaves

    Elena claims she never hurt Mia and stares down at the girl until Mia shakes her head. Elena smugly tells Sloan to have the children guide her tomorrow and ask servants for help, then walks away down the corridor.

  4. 01:10: Leo Watches from the Shadows

    Leo steps out from behind the shadows near the mansion window. He stays quiet and stares at Sloan as she continues to comfort Mia. His cold, hostile expression drops as he watches the two of them together.
