Episode 2 recap

Dominic asks for his bride's identity at the altar, and Sloan introduces herself. In the pews, an older guest mocks Sloan's weight. Sloan marches over and knocks the man unconscious with a single punch. An urgent call interrupts the wedding, prompting Dominic to sign the marriage registry, name Sloan his wife and Donna, and leave. Sloan signs the contract alone, takes her ring, and travels to the mansion, where young Mia visits her bedroom.

Episode 2 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Sloan Introduces Herself at the Altar

    Dominic stands at the church altar and asks who she is. Sloan looks at him directly and introduces herself as his bride, Sloan Vitale, stepping forward to take her place beside him for the ceremony.

  2. 00:04: Guests Ridicule the New Bride

    Whispers break out across the church pews as guests laugh at Sloan's physical size. An older guest speaks up loudly, comparing her to a whale and crudely mocking Dominic about what will happen on their wedding night.

  3. 00:30: Sloan Knocks Out the Guest

    Sloan steps down the church aisle toward the older man who insulted her. She strikes him square in the face with a hard punch, knocking him unconscious onto the floor, before calmly walking back to the altar.

  4. 00:44: Dominic Leaves After the Signing

    Dominic's right-hand man answers an urgent phone call beside the altar. Dominic immediately signs the marriage registry, proclaims Sloan to be his lawful wife and the Donna, and departs the church in a hurry.

  5. 01:07: Sloan Finishes the Ceremony Alone

    Relatives whisper and mock Sloan from the pews. Sloan ignores them, signs the marriage contract by herself, and accepts her wedding ring from the Moretti butler before turning around and exiting the church on her own.

  6. 01:37: Arrival at the Moretti Mansion

    A sedan carries Sloan from the church to the grand Moretti mansion. The butler greets her at the entrance and leads her through the estate into a cold, empty master bedroom, leaving her there by herself.

  7. 02:00: Mia Knocks on the Door

    Sloan hears a quiet knock while standing in the master bedroom. She opens the door and sees Dominic's young daughter, Mia, standing alone in the doorway, asking if Sloan is really her new mother.
