Episode 4 recap

Gabriel and Evelyn pull Sue from a vehicle on a rainy roadside. Evelyn steals Sue's ring, and they toss her down a steep drop. Later, Harlan Ashford marches into the Vaughn house with Brandon. Evelyn claims Sue ran off, so Harlan slaps her and threatens them. Harlan then flies a helicopter into the woods, tracks down the wounded Sue in the mud, and tells his crew to save her.

Episode 4 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Tossed Off the Road

    Gabriel and Evelyn pull an unresponsive Sue from the vehicle. While a bystander holds an umbrella, Evelyn pulls the family ring off Sue's hand. Gabriel and Evelyn then shove Sue over the ledge into the dark drop below.

  2. 00:22: Harlan Storms the Mansion

    Harlan arrives at the mansion with Brandon and demands Sue. Evelyn tells him Sue ran off with a lover. Harlan slaps Evelyn across the face, warns Gabriel and Evelyn they will die if Sue is hurt, and launches a citywide search.

  3. 00:59: Found in the Mud

    Sue opens her eyes on the wet ground below the ridge, bleeding and weak. A helicopter touches down nearby. Armed guards fan out across the trees. Harlan rushes over, drops beside Sue, and cries as he finds her alive.

  4. 01:35: Evacuation by Stretcher

    The rescue crew lifts Sue onto a stretcher near the running helicopter. Harlan walks beside her, calling out to the medical team. He demands they do whatever is necessary to keep his granddaughter breathing through the night.
