She pulls back her glove to display a scar and whispers that he buried her, making him drop his champagne glass in shock. Three years earlier, Gabriel accepts an award on stage and covers Sue's bruised shoulder with his coat. Later at home, he beats Sue to the floor and wipes blood from her face with a warning.

  1. 00:00: Confrontation at the Banquet

    Cecilia Ashford walks into the banquet hall wearing a black dress. She approaches Gabriel Vaughn and pulls off her glove to display an old scar. Then she whispers that he buried her. Gabriel freezes and drops his champagne glass onto the floor.

  2. 00:27: Gala Speech Three Years Ago

    Three years earlier, Gabriel stands on a charity gala stage to accept an award. He speaks into the microphone and thanks his wife Sue. When her dress strap slips, nearly exposing her shoulder bruises, Gabriel quickly wraps his coat around her body.

  3. 01:08: Gabriel Attacks Sue at Home

    Back at their residence, Gabriel accuses Sue of trying to expose his violence to the public. He beats her until she collapses on the floor. Gabriel wipes the blood off her face and warns her never to make him angry again.
