Episode 2 recap

Alma arrives late to her ballet class after her teacher criticizes a blonde student. The teacher sends Alma straight to the floor for the Chopin routine. Outside the studio, Diego Montero tours the academy with Mateo and the director. Diego stops at the window and watches Alma dance. Jealous of his attention, the blonde classmate spills water on the floor. Alma spins into the puddle, and Diego runs to catch her.

Episode 2 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Late Arrival at the Studio

    The dance teacher reprimands a blonde student for making a clumsy transition. Alma rushes into the studio late and offers an apology. Her instructor cuts her off and orders her to take her position for the Chopin sequence immediately.

  2. 00:36: Diego Tours the Dance Academy

    Diego Montero walks through the hallway with his assistant Mateo and the academy director. The director thanks Diego for his visit and potential donation. Diego pauses outside the glass window of the studio to look at the dancers inside.

  3. 01:08: Sabotage on the Studio Floor

    Diego stands by the window, unable to look away from Alma as she dances. The blonde student notices his focus on Alma. Out of jealousy, the classmate knocks a water bottle over, letting water pool across the wooden floor.

  4. 01:42: A Dangerous Slip Mid-Spin

    Alma performs her turns and spins directly into the spilled water. Her feet slide out from under her on the wet floorboards. Diego spots her losing her balance from the hallway and sprints toward the studio to intervene.
