Episode 7 recap

Simon attempts to strike Apollo, but Cora shields her son and takes the harsh lashes. Chloe empties a liquid onto Cora's torn flesh and orders guards to rope her to an execution stake. As Apollo and Diana scream, Chloe threatens them and raises a torch to incinerate Cora. Cora spits blood into Chloe's face. A thunderbolt strikes the square, and Zeus lands in golden armor to save his wife.

Episode 7 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Cora Shields Her Son

    Apollo speaks up for his absent father, provoking Simon to lash out with a whip. Cora throws her body over Apollo, absorbing every strike. The severe beating tears open her back, causing her to spit blood onto her son's forehead.

  2. 00:40: Chloe Binds Cora

    Cora calms her weeping twins, promising them that their father will return for them. Red fire suddenly flares in Apollo's eyes. Chloe steps forward, pours a liquid directly onto Cora's bleeding gashes, and commands guards to tie Cora to the stake.

  3. 01:26: Defiance at the Pyre

    Guards lash Cora to the wooden pillar as her children scream in panic. Chloe vows to burn Cora alive and torture the twins next. Cora defiantly spits blood straight into Chloe's face, so Chloe readies her flaming torch to ignite the pyre.

  4. 02:43: Zeus Arrives in Thunder

    Chloe tosses the torch, but a massive thunderbolt shatters the night sky and hits the square. Zeus emerges in golden armor. He severs Cora's ropes with bolts of electricity, catches her in his arms, and drives earth-shaking lightning into the ground.

Zeus holds the battered Cora close to his chest while dangerous lightning surges through the ground toward the stunned onlookers. He angrily demands to know who dared to harm his wife. Will the terrified family and townspeople survive the divine wrath of the God of Thunder after torturing Cora?
