A battlefield flashback shows Karen attaining mythic rank before returning to the Silver Moon Pack. Villagers gossip about his lack of an heir while Laira promises her sick daughter Aires a better life. During Karen's public homecoming ceremony, Priestess Vinora tries to seduce him. Karen keeps his distance. The event derails when Aires breaks away from Laira, charges onto the stage, and shouts out to the Alpha as her father.
