Episode 5 recap

Eira lies on the snowy battlefield with an arrow in her chest. Her heart turns to ice and begins beating again, opening her glowing blue eyes. She pulls the arrow out in panic, creating frost on the ground and a blizzard vortex that freezes soldiers. The storm pursues her as she flees across the ice. On a misty lake, Eira collapses. A masked man named Loki calms her and kneels, while Magnus aims an arrow.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Awakening on the Snowy Field

    Eira lies motionless beside the glowing rune stone with an arrow in her chest. Her heart freezes into solid ice and starts beating again. She wakes up instantly as her eyes light up with a bright blue glow.

  2. 00:19: The Blizzard Vortex Unleashed

    Eira shouts in terror and sends frost spreading across the ground. She pulls the arrow out of her chest. A towering blizzard vortex rises around her, trapping and freezing nearby hunters where they stand in the snow.

  3. 00:43: Running From the Storm

    The violent blizzard follows Eira as she runs across the ice. She pleads out loud for the freezing wind to stop. She warns everyone around her to stay back so they do not get caught in the cold.

  4. 00:58: Loki Arrives on the Ice

    Eira falls onto the frozen lake. A masked man named Loki emerges from the thick mist. He calms Eira's wild power and drops to his knees before her. At that moment, Magnus draws an arrow and targets Loki.
