Hunters rain flaming arrows down into the valley from a snowy ridge. The Hunter Commander calls a cease-fire to discuss their approach with a comrade. Down in the burning forest, Eira lifts a fiery timber off an endangered wolf pup and quenches the flames with ice. Armed hunters intercept her along the riverbank. She freezes an archer's weapon instead of striking his body, before blocking arrows on the lake.

Episode 3 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Flaming Arrows on the Ridge

    Hunters shoot flaming arrows from a high ridge into the valley below. The Hunter Commander stops his men from firing. He debates tactics with a bearded soldier while smoke rises from the trees beneath them.

  2. 00:15: Rescue in the Burning Den

    Eira enters a blazing wolf den surrounded by heavy smoke. She picks up a burning timber to free a trapped wolf pup. Then she covers the fire tracks in the snow with frost magic to clear an exit.

  3. 00:32: Confrontation on the Riverbank

    Hunters surround Eira beside a frozen river. An aggressive archer steps toward her with his drawn bow. Eira unleashes frost directly onto the wood, freezing the weapon solid while leaving the archer completely untouched.

  4. 00:58: Stand-off on the Lake

    Soldiers encircle Eira on a frozen lake and release an arrow volley. She conjures an ice shield to deflect the incoming missile. The Hunter Commander then pulls out a glowing red Odin's arrow and aims at her.
