Episode 5 recap

Eric Tully turns down a red-haired student because he refuses to give up on Ava Goode. His curly-haired friend wants snacks, so both boys decide to track down Alan to get into the food hall. When they reach the entrance, the exterior doors are wide open, letting snow swirl into the building. They push the doors shut and notice snowy shoe prints on the floor. Following the tracks, they find Alan bleeding against the wall.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Rejection in the Lounge

    A red-haired classmate flirts with Eric, but he tells her he will never abandon Ava. Eric points her toward her ex-boyfriend with the laptop. She refuses to back off, insists she will pursue Eric, and walks away.

  2. 00:25: A Trip for Snacks

    Sitting across the lounge from Ava and Mike, Eric's curly-haired friend complains about being hungry. He proposes heading over to the food hall for food. Eric agrees to escape the tension, and they plan to ask Alan for hall access.

  3. 00:57: Doors Blown Open

    Eric and his friend pull on heavy winter coats and step out into the hallway. The front double doors stand wide open to the blizzard outside. Freezing wind and heavy snow pour directly through the doorway into the building entrance.

  4. 01:16: Footprints in the Lobby

    The two students lean their weight into the double doors to force them closed against the howling storm. They look around for Alan, only to spot wet, snowy boot prints trailing away from the entrance and leading further down the indoor corridor.

  5. 01:44: Discovery in the Corridor

    Eric and his friend follow the wet tracks around a sharp corner in the dormitory hallway. They freeze in terror when they locate Alan. The dorm supervisor is slumped motionless against the wall, his clothes and body drenched in blood.

How Episode 5 Ends

Eric and his curly-haired friend stand frozen in the dormitory hallway after finding Alan slumped against the wall, covered in blood. The storm rages outside while a killer is clearly loose inside the residence. Will the two students be able to escape safely, or will the killer attack them before they can alert the others?
