   Tears stream down Olivia's face before she tucks a scalpel into her pocket. Out in the hallway, Alexander Whitmore walks beside Dean Wilson and asks for Dr. Hayes. Nearby nurses immediately recognize the wealthy heir.

   Olivia grips the hidden scalpel and pauses in the doorway of Paige's room. Inside, Ethan sits on the edge of the bed and spoons soup into Paige's mouth. Vivian sits beside them in silence.
