In the hospital stairwell hallway, Ethan pins Elowen against the wall and aggressively questions her about her moving plans. He claims they can cancel their divorce if she is pregnant with his baby. When Elowen cries, Ethan touches her intimately and admits he loves Karina while still desiring her body. Karina calls his phone, interrupting him. Ethan orders Elowen to wait at her apartment tonight, then walks away. Disgusted, Elowen decides to fly out tonight.

    Ethan kisses away Elowen's tears and tells her to wait for him at her place tonight. He walks away to answer Karina. Alone in the stairwell, a disgusted Elowen wipes off his touch and resolves to fly out tonight.
