Ethan and Elowen walk into Ethan's Grandmother's hospital room and discover Karina standing there. Grandmother angrily shouts at Karina to leave. Elowen speaks up and states that she and Ethan already ended their marriage. Grandmother then sends Karina and Ethan out into the corridor. In private, Grandmother asks Elowen to stay patient for Ethan. Elowen turns down the plea. Ethan eavesdrops outside before grabbing Elowen in the hallway.

    Ethan Black and Elowen enter the hospital room and see Karina. Ethan's Grandmother furiously orders Karina to leave immediately. Elowen steps forward to de-escalate the tension and announces to the elderly woman that she and Ethan are officially divorced.

  2. 00:31: Clearing the Hospital Room

    Ethan's Grandmother refuses to look at Karina. She angrily tells Ethan to take Karina away and leave the room at once. The older woman insists on having a private conversation with Elowen, forcing Ethan and Karina out into the hallway.

    Grandmother confesses that she knew about their three-year agreement. She asks whether Elowen could give Ethan time. Elowen declines, explaining she spent three years waiting and will now focus solely on herself. Ethan stands outside the closed door and listens.

    Elowen leaves Ethan's Grandmother and heads toward the hospital exit. As she passes the stairwell, Ethan suddenly lunges forward from the shadows. He covers her mouth with his hand and shoves her back against the wall.
