    Luna picks up her suitcase and walks toward the exit. Kane steps directly into her path to halt her. He faces Eleanor in the hall and makes a firm ultimatum, stating that he will leave the estate if Luna is cast out.

    The heated argument stops when the butler rushes into the main hall. He announces that the chairman of Laurent Group has just reached the manor grounds. The visitor demands an immediate private audience with Kane and Luna together.
