Luna walks up to the grand estate gate with her luggage and rings the bell. Mrs. Blake lets her inside and lays down strict rules along the driveway. In the dining room, Mrs. Blake orders Luna to polish dropped silverware in ten minutes. Luna arranges the banquet table using formal etiquette. Kane Ashford spots the table from the balcony, stops Mrs. Blake from evicting her, and calls Luna to his study.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Arrival At Ashfield Manor

    Luna arrives outside the estate gates carrying her suitcase and rings the bell. Another maid spots her at the entrance and alerts Mrs. Blake. The head housekeeper walks over and unlocks the gate to let Luna onto the grounds.

  2. 00:35: Harsh Rules On The Driveway

    Mrs. Blake escorts Luna along the path toward the main house. She gives Luna strict instructions about her employment. She tells her she must sleep down in the basement, eat only leftover food, and remain completely invisible to the household.

  3. 00:54: Silverware In The Dining Hall

    Cutlery clatters across the floor in the dining hall. Mrs. Blake commands Luna to gather and polish the pieces in ten minutes. Luna picks up the scattered utensils and lays out the banquet table using precise, formal table etiquette.

  4. 01:10: Kane Ashford Intervenes

    Kane watches Luna from the balcony and questions who set the table. When Mrs. Blake threatens to dismiss Luna, Kane walks downstairs. He asks Luna for her name and redirects her to his study instead of the cold basement.
