   Alex and Victoria Taylor inspect bags of rice, flour, and canned food in the garage storage area. Alex points out that the garage is safer than the main house because it has its own independent boiler and an emergency power generator.

   Three infected monsters crawl beneath the gap in the roll-up door. Victoria screams in terror as they enter. Alex grabs an axe and hacks two of them down. He recognizes the third zombie as Mia, his former coworker, and strikes her dead.

   Victoria slumps onto the floor. Alex hands her a bottle of water, exposing a bite on his forearm. She learns he was bitten three days ago without turning. Alex offers to let her return to the house, but she insists on staying.

   Alex starts the engine of a gold sports car while Victoria climbs into the passenger seat. He tells her that while the others fight over jewels, they are going to secure real supplies. Alex hits the gas and speeds out of the garage.
