Valerie wakes up in the hotel bed and sneaks out after leaving her phone number on a note. She visits her restaurant, where her business partner and Chloe force her to sign resignation papers. They take her recipes and offer five thousand dollars in insult money. Soon after, Valerie receives a call for a head chef interview at Vance Group. She walks into the executive office and discovers the interviewer is the woman from her hotel room.
