Sasha guides Scarlett out of the stone chamber. At the Great Tree ceremony, Carlos ignores a glimpse of white hair in a distant carriage and accepts the veiled bride. After the vows, Carlos pulls back the veil and finds Raven. Shocked, he flees the altar and dashes to the cavern. Scarlett rests in a stone coffin as priests chant. Carlos arrives at the entrance just as black thorny vines shut her inside.

Episode 8 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Departing the Stone Chamber

    Sasha enters the stone chamber and informs Scarlett that it is time to leave. Scarlett thanks Sasha for staying beside her through everything. Sasha physically supports the weakened Saintess as the two companions walk out of the room together.

  2. 00:15: The Vows Beneath the Tree

    Beneath the Great Tree, the priest asks Carlos to accept the veiled bride. Carlos pauses after spotting a black carriage carrying someone with white hair through the woods. He dismisses the thought as impossible and speaks his wedding vow.

  3. 00:55: The Unveiling of Raven

    The priest declares the soul bond complete. Carlos raises the bridal veil to kiss his wife and discovers Raven. Raven wraps her arms around him and calls herself his princess, but Carlos shoves her away and asks for Scarlett.

  4. 01:21: Carlos Flees the Altar

    Carlos scans the wedding guests and realizes Sasha is missing. He connects Sasha's absence to the white hair inside the carriage. Raven calls out after him, but Carlos turns his back on the altar and runs into the forest.

  5. 01:46: Scarlett Enters the Stone Coffin

    Inside the cavern, Scarlett lies down in the stone coffin. Sasha cries and pleads with her friend to reconsider the sacrifice. Scarlett tells Sasha that she feels free. Priests chant while black thorny vines begin wrapping over the coffin.

  6. 02:20: Too Late at the Cavern

    Carlos races through the trees while remembering happy times with Scarlett. He arrives at the cave opening right as dark thorny vines completely entrap Scarlett within the stone tomb. Carlos screams her name in agony.

Scarlett · Scarlett says this to Sasha before they leave the stone chamber together.

“Your Highness, we're already bonded. From now on, I'm your princess...”

Raven · Raven speaks after Carlos lifts the bridal veil and recoils in shock.

“Scarlett, please... think about this again! You don't have to throw your life away because of that bastard!”

Sasha · Sasha begs Scarlett while standing beside the stone coffin inside the cavern.

“Scarlett!!!”

Carlos · Carlos screams toward the stone coffin as thorny vines finish enclosing Scarlett.

How Episode 8 Ends

Carlos arrives at the cavern just as the thorny vines finish encasing Scarlett within the stone coffin. He shouts her name into the opening in total agony. Can Carlos find any way to break the dark magical seal, or has Scarlett permanently vanished from his life to save the realm?
